KLCI Futures End Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended the week mostly lower, in line with the weaker underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 fell 1.5 points to 1,710.0, February 2025 decreased 1.0 point to 1,715.0, March 2026 eased half-a-point to 1,697.0, while June 2026 added 1.0 point to 1,700.5.

Turnover decreased to 6,276 lots from 6,623 lots on Thursday, while open interest was slightly lower at 41,095 contracts compared to 42,081 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 2.42 points to 1,712.74, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,715.16.
