Qatar Affirms Full Support For Efforts To Promote Peace, Social Security In Yemen

DOHA, Dec 26 (Bernama-QNA) -- Qatar has expressed its full support for all efforts to promote peace and social security in Yemen, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

It stressed the necessity of close cooperation among all Yemeni parties to avoid escalation and resolve all outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, in a manner that preserves Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity.

In a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry affirmed Qatar’s full support for the legitimate Yemeni government and the role of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council in ending the suffering of the Yemeni people and achieving their aspirations for security, stability, development and peace.

The ministry also expressed Qatar’s support for the efforts led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) aimed at strengthening security and stability and advancing the de-escalation process in Yemen.
