KUCHING, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- A delegation from the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) led by its chief executive officer, Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, paid a courtesy call on TV Sarawak (TVS) here, today.

The delegation accompanied by BERNAMA editor-in-chief, Arul Rajoo Durar Raj and several senior officers, was welcomed by TVS chief media officer, Mohamad Sardon Zainal, senior editor Khairunnisa Kasnoon and acting head of marketing and communications Iszarul Japar.

During the visit, Nur-ul Afida expressed her appreciation to TVS and Sarawak Media Group for their support as BERNAMA customers since 2021.

She also welcomed Mohamad Sardon's participation in the BERNAMA Board of Governors, which is now more inclusive encompassing print, broadcast and digital media.

Nur-ul Afida said BERNAMA was ready to strengthen its strategic partnership with TVS, especially ahead of the upcoming Sarawak State Election based on the agency's experience in providing extensive coverage during the Sabah state election as well as previous elections.

Meanwhile, Arul Rajoo expressed BERNAMA's commitment to continue supporting TVS through content sharing, editorial support and collaboration between the bureau in Sarawak and the Peninsula.

He was also confident that TVS would be able to expand its international-class coverage ahead of the 2027 SEA Games in Sarawak.
