KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- EC-Council, the creator of the renowned Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) credential, has released its CEH Hall of Fame 2025 Industry Report, spotlighting the world’s most accomplished ethical hackers and the revolutionary effect of CEH certification on careers, industries, and national security.
This data-driven report offers an unfiltered view of how CEH is transforming individual careers and strengthening the global cybersecurity workforce’s ability to counter the next generation of digital threats.
The report evaluates CEH’s impact across four dimensions, namely Career Advancement, Industry Recognition, Hands-On Proficiency, and Skills Gained. It draws insights from 460 elite finalists across 93 countries—selected for high exam scores and proven leadership—narrowed down to 100 Hall of Fame inductees.
In a statement, EC-Council Group President, Jay Bavisi said these inductees represent the future of global cybersecurity.
“They have transformed ethical hacking into a strategic discipline essential for digital trust and innovation,” he said.
Some of the most compelling insights from the report reveal that every respondent experienced greater respect and recognition in the workplace after earning their CEH certification.
Nearly all reported a positive impact on their careers, with 99 per cent affirming its value. A significant majority, 97 per cent, felt the certification equipped them to address emerging cyber threats effectively, while 91 per cent believed it gave them a clear advantage over holders of other cybersecurity credentials.
Looking ahead, EC-Council is expanding its certification framework with the launch of Certified Ethical Hacker Powered with AI Capabilities—a next-generation programme featuring immersive labs, simulations, and pathways to over 45 cybersecurity job roles.
