KLCI Futures Open Mostly Higher On Cash Market Gains

KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Wednesday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.25 am, the July 2025 contract rose 5.5 points to 1,548.50. August 2025 and September 2025 gained 7.0 points each to 1,547.0 and 1,527.0, respectively, while December 2025 was unchanged at 1,521.50.

Turnover stood at 1,209 lots, with open interest at 34,256 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI climbed 8.02 points to 1,549.55 after 25 minutes of trading, up from Tuesday’s close of 1,541.53.
