KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Cloudflare Inc, the leading connectivity cloud company, has announced the general availability of its Log Explorer to help give businesses instant access to critical security and performance insights across their information technology (IT) environments.
“The log management market has been unnecessarily complex and expensive for far too long. We think businesses deserve better, and thanks to the scale of our platform, we are uniquely positioned to deliver a faster, more unified way for businesses to gain visibility and understand all the risks to their business.
“Cloudflare already detects threats faster than any solution on the market. Now, combining our threat detection capabilities with native log management, we are one step closer to allowing customers to get rid of certain third-party tools, like SIEMs,” said Cloudflare President of Product and Engineering, CJ Desai in a statement.
Customers can now analyse, investigate, and monitor for security attacks with log line level insights across their entire business, eliminating the need to forward logs to third-party security analysis tools, saving security teams time and reducing overall cost.
Security and operations teams rely on logs for critical insights, which enables them to troubleshoot issues, investigate security incidents, and optimise application and infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
Following a successful preview with over 500 users, Log Explorer is now generally available to anyone, allowing businesses to reduce the cost and complexity of third-party tooling, investigate security and performance issues from a single source, and fix problems faster with an in-dashboard response.
The tool offers a one-click setup for instant log analysis, removing the need for pipelines or tuning. It provides integrated security and performance insights across HTTP, security events, and Zero Trust logs, all within the Cloudflare Dashboard. Teams can respond to issues in real time without switching between platforms.
Additionally, Cloudflare plans to introduce customisable log retention policies, enabling organisations to meet compliance and audit requirements with greater flexibility.
