Inteam Shifts ‘Kasih Kekasih’ Concert Venue After Sell-out

KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Bernama) – The overwhelming response from fans has forced   popular nasyid group Inteam to relocate its 25th Anniversary ‘Konsert Kasih Kekasih’ to a larger venue, after tickets for the original date on Sept 27 sold out within just two hours of release.

The new venue will be IdeaLive, Petaling Jaya on Sept 28, which can accommodate 5,000 people—giving more fans the chance to witness the highly anticipated concert.

The group’s vocalist, Mohd Syahril Abdul Khalid, said the decision to move from the original venue at Zepp Kuala Lumpur was made after observing fans’ feedback when tickets for more than 1,000 seats were sold out in a very short time.

“We didn’t expect such a tremendous response because initially we were only targeting just over 1,000 people. We didn’t expect the concert to go this viral.

“Many fans suggested we either add a second night or choose a bigger venue. After discussions and checking our schedule, we decided to move to IdeaLive,” he said at a press conference here today.

Besides Mohd Syahril, the group also comprises Muhammad Hazamin Harun, Hisyam Ahmad, and Abdul Rahim Osman.

He said earlier ticket buyers need not worry as they will be given special seats positioned closer to the stage according to their respective zones.

“The concert organisers will contact ticket buyers to confirm seating and notify them of the new concert date. As a token of appreciation, early buyers will receive a special gift from the Khair App,” he said, adding that new tickets will go on sale on Saturday, June 14, 2025 via the Ticket Empire platform, accessible through the concert’s official website at www.kasihkekasih.com.

He said the concert, themed ‘Cinta Ilahi, Sayang Nabi dan Kasih Insani’ (Divine Love, Love for the Prophet, and Love for Humanity), will feature more than 25 songs and nostalgic medleys, including special performances by two sons of the late Suhaimi Saad, as well as several surprise guest artistes.

Since its formation in 2000, the group has made a name for itself internationally, performing in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Yemen, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, China, and Australia.
