KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) -- IMILAB, a leader in smart home technology, is set to launch its latest indoor security camera, the C30 Dual, with dual-lens surveillance and local artificial intelligence (AI) detections to help new parents and pet owners monitor their babies and pets.
According to a statement, the C30 Dual will be available through Amazon, imilabglobal.com, and AliExpress starting April 30.
The IMILAB C30 Dual features two 3K live surveillance feeds, while two-way audio allows for real-time communication. Enhanced night vision technology ensures clear, full-colour footage even in low light.
Its dual-lens system provides comprehensive 360-degree coverage with six times zoom, allowing users to simultaneously monitor different areas—ideal for keeping an eye on both babies and pets.
AI-driven alerts notify users of key events like human or pet movement, crying babies, and even fire or smoke detection (in beta), all processed locally for privacy and without a subscription.
Furthermore, footage from the C30 Dual can be stored locally on a microSD card (up to 256 gigabytes) without a subscription, but alternatively, a subscription-based cloud option is available, and the camera can be accessed via the Xiaomi/Mi Home App without being at home.
The C30 Dual supports both 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) and 5 GHz WiFi via WiFi-6, offering better connectivity and lower latency. It can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a ceiling for varied viewing angles and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.
Founded in 2014, IMILAB’s plug-and-play home security solutions cover both indoor and outdoor spaces, having delivered over 75 million products to homes worldwide through strong partnerships with well-known players like Mihome and Aliyun.
