Sarawak Teams Dominate 15hp Speed Boat Race 2.0 At LISC 2025

LABUAN, April 27 (Bernama) -- Sarawak teams once again proved their prowess in extreme sea sports, sweeping top honors in the Labuan International Sea Challenge (LISC) 2025 15hp speed boat race.

In the Original Engine category, Team Superman from Lawas powered their way to victory, securing first place, while their Laser Line of Limbang was second, with local Labuan team TM Online third.

Meanwhile, the Engine Modified category saw Laser Line dominate by clinching both first and second places and Superman from Lawas in third place.

The thrilling event, which offered a total prize pool of RM25,000, was one of the highlights during the closing day celebrations of the LISC 2025.

This year’s second series was jointly organised by Labuan Corporation (LC) in collaboration with Kelab Belia Patau-Patau, attracting participation from top sea sports enthusiasts across Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan.

The Labuan International Sea Challenge, part of the island’s iconic tourism calendar, continues to grow in stature, promoting Labuan as a prime destination for water sports while fostering regional camaraderie through competition.
