KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Monday, tracking early weakness in the broader market.

At 10.13 am, the March 2026 and April 2026 contracts declined 50.0 points each to 1,640.50 and 1,643.0; June 2026 eased 51.50 points to 1,642.0, and September 2026 slipped 51.0 points to 1,623.0.

Turnover was 5,596 lots, with open interest at 40,942 contracts.

The FBM KLCI index was down 47.40 points at 1,670.66 at the time of writing, compared with last Friday’s close of 1,718.06.
