Coventry Marks Life Insurance Awareness Month With Renewed Focus On Policyowner Value

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- Coventry, the pioneer of the secondary market for life insurance, is celebrating Life Insurance Awareness Month by reaffirming its commitment to turning life insurance into a more flexible and valuable financial asset for policyowners.

“Life insurance is one of the most valuable assets people own, safeguarding loved ones, fuelling dreams, and adapting to life’s changes.

“By creating a vibrant secondary market, we have shown policyowners that life insurance is a flexible asset that can maximise returns and deliver lasting value,” said Coventry chief executive officer, Reid Buerger in a statement.

For over 20 years, Coventry has transformed how life insurance is perceived and used, delivering more than US$6 billion to individuals for policies that might otherwise have been surrendered or lapsed. (US$1=RM4.18)

Life Insurance Awareness Month highlights insurance’s critical role in family protection, retirement, and estate planning. Coventry remains committed to ensuring that life insurance fulfils its extraordinary promise—delivering security, flexibility, and value at every stage of life.
