2025 Vietnam ESG Investor Conference Spurs Action On Sustainability, Net-Zero Goals

KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 (Bernama) -- The 2025 Vietnam ESG Investor Conference recently concluded with over 500 attendees, including investors, government officials, business leaders, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), multinationals, academics, and media, gathering to explore trade, investment, and sustainable growth.

This year’s conference highlighted environmental, social, and governance (ESG) fundamental role in Vietnam's sustainable economic path and its potential to unlock impactful investments in energy, infrastructure, logistics, and labour, demonstrated by the event’s own net-zero efforts.

As co-hosts of the conference, Vietnam Innovators Digest (Vietcetera Media) noted in a statement that the two-day event addressed crucial themes like the United States trade tariffs, geopolitical shifts, and Vietnam's position in ASEAN.

“Amid global uncertainty, Vietnam stands at a pivotal moment for sustainable growth. Market shifts, ESG clarity, and private sector reforms like Resolution 68 present transformative opportunities.

“This year’s Vietnam ESG Investor Conference, co-hosted by Raise Partners, drove bold, action-orientated dialogue to catalyse impact as Vietnam enters a new era of responsible, diversified growth,” said a Partner at Raise Partners, Van Ly.

Panel discussions and keynotes explored leveraging Vietnam’s advantages for economic and export market diversification, resilient infrastructure, inclusive workforce development, and gender-lens investment in addition to the Investor and Business Exhibition that featured startup innovation and collaboration.

Day one focused on Vietnam’s socioeconomic goals amidst global uncertainty, emphasising mission-driven approaches, market diversification, workforce development, sustainable cities, sector resilience, and ESG best practices.

Meanwhile, day two explored emerging opportunities in gender-lens investing, the digital and artificial intelligence (AI) economy, green supply chains, sustainable financing, and e-mobility.

The event also featured a startup impact and tech pitch session, an Executive Nature-Positive Zero Waste Lunch, and a post-conference Networking Reception, fostering connections around ESG investing, sustainable growth, and net-zero goals.
