Ar-Rahnu Express Opens Kota Bharu Branch

KOTA BHARU, May 7 (Bernama) -- Ar-Rahnu Express, a shariah-compliant pawnshop brand under homegrown jeweller Habib Group, has launched its newest 10th branch at Mydin Tunjong here today.
Habib’s group executive chairman Datuk Seri Meer Habib said this new branch is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand Islamic pawnshop services to the East Coast area, thus strengthening its commitment to providing easy and fast services to customers.
He said Ar-Rahnu Express, which was established in 2010, currently operates six branches in the Klang Valley and four branches outside the area, including the newest one in Mydin Tunjong.
“This branch is designed with a minimalist urban concept, offering an area of 1,812 square feet that provides maximum comfort to customers, including seven privacy counters and two special counters that can accommodate two customers at a time.
“In addition, customers also enjoy facilities such as vending machines that provide free coffee and tea while waiting for their turn, demonstrating Ar-Rahnu Express’s commitment to ensuring a more comfortable and professional customer experience,” he told Bernama today.
Among the free services offered are gold, diamond and gemstone valuations, gold zakat calculation guides, gold purity testing, and jewellery cleaning, he said.
“Ar-Rahnu Express also provides free consultations on the gold leasing process, aimed at helping customers understand the services offered more deeply.
“The opening of this branch is an important step in Ar-Rahnu Express’s strategy to expand its branch network nationwide to make shariah-compliant pawnshops more accessible to all levels of society,” he added.
