Maybank Launches 'Finding MAEllionaire' Campaign
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has introduced its "Finding MAEllionaire" campaign, offering customers the chance to win RM1 million in cash.
In a statement today, Maybank said the campaign runs from Nov 1 to Dec 31, 2024, and is open to all users of its MAE application.
"This campaign aims to help customers achieve financial freedom and stability while recognising the loyalty of our valued customers," said Maybank, Malaysia's largest bank by assets.
The bank stated that two lucky winners will be randomly selected—one for eligible transactions in November and another in December—bringing the total cash prize to RM2 million.
To participate, customers need to perform eligible transactions via the MAE app.
These include paying bills, using scan & pay, transferring funds to ASNB or Tabung Haji, reloading or topping up, purchasing movie tickets or ERL rides, and using the MAE card for tolls, parking, or public transport (KTM and LRT).
Additionally, customers can qualify automatically by opening a MAE Wallet, activating a MAE card, saving in the MAE Fund, or performing contactless cash withdrawals through the app at any participating Maybank ATM.
Prizes will be credited in cash, which winners can invest in savings accounts, fixed deposits, unit trusts, or digital gold investments such as Maybank MIGA-i.
"This campaign reflects Maybank's commitment to supporting customers in achieving a better financial future," the bank said.
New MAE users can also enjoy promotions, including an RM10 initial reward with the promo code 'JOMMAE', and a daily reward of 50 sen until Dec 31, 2024, by saving a minimum of RM500 in the MAE Fund.
