DUBAI, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Viasfood Sdn Bhd, Pahang-based food manufacturer service provider, has unveiled two dipping sauces, Musang King Sauce and Black Chili Paste, for both local and international markets.

The launches of the products were held in conjunction with MIHAS@Dubai 2024 expo, held from Nov 18-20, 2024.

Chief executive officer Jismi Asmawi said the Musang King Sauce is crafted with the Musang King durian as its base and can be used as a dipping sauce, salad dressing, bread spread or even paired with plain rice.

“The Black Chili Paste (Sambal Hitam Pahang) is a representation of Pahang’s culinary legacy, Sambal Hitam Pahang, which boasts of an extended shelf life of up to two years, without compromising its taste,” he told Bernama after the launches of the products here today.

In addition to launching these products, he said Viasfood also introduced a refreshed corporate identity, including a revamped logo and innovative packaging designs.

“This bold new look reflects our vision for growth and our dedication to upholding Malaysia’s cultural and culinary excellence. We are excited to share these achievements with the world and look forward to creating new opportunities that will showcase Malaysia’s rich flavours on the global stage,” he said.

The launches of the products and new corporate branding were officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, alongside several distinguished figures, including the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation's (MATRADE) chairman Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz.
