ANKARA, May 28 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- Israeli warplanes launched a fresh round of airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport in the Yemeni capital on Wednesday, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said.
In a statement, Katz claimed the strikes destroyed "the last aircraft remaining in Houthi use" as part of what he described as Operation Golden Ornament, Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported.
“The ports in Yemen will continue to be hit hard, and Sanaa airport will be destroyed again and again,” he warned.
Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV confirmed the Israeli strikes on the airport but did not provide details on casualties or the extent of damage.
