Poland expels three Russian diplomats

16/04/2021 11:59 AM

WARSAW, April 16 -- Poland has expelled three Russian diplomats, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday, reported Xinhua news agency.

The Polish ministry said in a statement that it had summoned the Russian ambassador in Warsaw Sergey Andreyev, and informed him about the recognition of three embassy staff as Persona Non Grata.

"The basis for this decision was the violation of diplomatic status and carrying out activities to the detriment of the Republic of Poland by the indicated persons," said the statement.
