IPOH, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- The Perak Football Association (PAFA) have secured the services of Nigerian midfielder Christian Chukwu, who will strengthen the Perak FA squad for the 2025/26 A1 Semi-Pro League campaign.
PAFA president Datuk Mohd Azhar Jamaluddin, on behalf of Perak FA, welcomed the arrival of the 23-year-old player from Abia.
He said Christian previously played for Marryland Nigeria and is known as an attacking midfielder with the intelligence to orchestrate attacks and excellent ball control.
“Christian’s arrival adds creative options in midfield, offering a new dimension to Perak FA’s attacking play.
“Even more exciting, Christian has already been registered and is ready to make his debut in the highly intense ‘Northern Derby’ against Kedah FA tomorrow night (tonight),” he said in a statement posted on Perak FA’s official Facebook page last night.
As such, Mohd Azhar invited Perak FA supporters to witness Christian’s debut and cheer for the team at the Manjung Municipal Council Stadium tonight.
