600 employment opportunities await job seekers at ATAM's Open Interview Programme this Saturday

ARAU,  Jan 13 --  A subsidiary of the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council  (MAIPs), Akademi Transformasi Asnaf MAIPs (ATAM) Sdn Bhd, is providing 400 to 600 job slots through the Career Opportunities and Open Interview Programme to be held for two days, from this Saturday, at Dewan Besar of the Perlis Youth and Sports Department here.

The programme, which will be from 8 am to 6 pm, to help the asnaf (eligible tithe recipients) and those who do not have a fixed income to get employment opportunities, said MAIPs chief executive officer Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor.

He said there will be seven slots on the first day of the programme,  involving Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) at 9 am, Kulim Hi Tech Park (KHTP) at 10 am, Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Center (KISMEC) Sungai Petani at 11 am.

From noon to 3 pm, it is open to any company wishing to participate in the program, he said in a statement today.

At 3 pm, the slot will be taken over by The Otomotif College (TOC) at 3pm, and then  McDonalds Malaysia at 4pm and Restoran Mohd Chan Group Berhad from 5pm to 6pm.

On the second day, he said, it would involve the participation of The Welding Institute (TWI), Shah Alam, at 9 am, Malaysian Professional Accountancy Centre (MyPAC) at 10 am, KOBE Precision Technology Sdn Bhd (KPTec) at 11 am, and from noon to 3 pm, to interest companies.

At 3 pm, the slot is for Perniagaan Mokti's and then Restoran Amber Chinese Muslim at 4 pm and Wahyuni Beauty & Muslimah Spa, Kangar, from 5 pm to 6 pm, he added.
