Angry taxi driver crashes into three cars at KKIA

KOTA KINABALU, July 19 -- A 60-year-old taxi driver went on a rampage and crashed into three other cars in an incident at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) here today.

A video of the 1 pm incident which went viral on social media, showed the man in an orange shirt driving a Proton Iswara car that crashed into the other vehicles. It is believed that the man was furious after another taxi driver had jumped queue.

Kota Kinabalu acting district police chief, Supt George Abdul Rakman when contacted by reporters, confirmed the incident.

He said police were investigating the matter to identify the cause of the incident for further action.

No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
