JOHOR BAHRU, July 17 (Bernama) -- The Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) today donated food baskets to 1,000 families in Labis and Segamat today.
The food baskets contained various basic necessities such as rice, sugar, flour and cooking oil.
This matter was shared through a post on His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia's official Facebook page. Several photographs of the handover ceremony had also been uploaded.
“The foundation’s charitable and community efforts also included the donation of eight units of Smart TVs to the Segamat District Education Office for the use of selected schools in the district,” according to the post.
YSIJ chief executive officer Mohd Anizam Jamian handed over the donations in ceremonies at the Segamat District Office and Labis District Council Hall to Segamat district officer Mohd Ezzudin Sanusi and the recipients involved.
