KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in tandem with the negative performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, May 2025 fell 6.0 points to 1,520.0, June 2025 and September 2025 shed 7.5 points each to 1,515.0 and 1,499.0 respectively, and December 2025 lost 8.0 points to 1,504.5.
Turnover tumbled to 21,038 lots from 62,385 lots on Wednesday, while open interest dwindled to 53,002 contracts compared to 103,479 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 4.50 points, or 0.29 per cent, to 1,518.98 from Wednesday’s close of 1,523.48.
