KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the weaker performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, May 2021 eased 4.5 points to 1,590.5, June 2021 fell 5.5 points to 1,586.5, September 2021 slipped four points to 1,579.0 and new spot month, December 2021, stood at 1,574.5.
Turnover fell to 6,821 lots from last Friday's close of 14,800 lots, while open interest decreased to 37,920 contracts from 55,778 contracts previously.
The benchmark FBM KLCI shed 10.92 points to 1,590.73 compared with last Friday's close of 1,601.65.
