KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher in line with the performance of the underlying cash market.
At 9.09am, spot month April 2021 rose 3.0 points to 1,598.0, May 2021 and June 2021 increased 4.5 points to 1,594.5 and 1,592.5, respectively, while September 2021 added 3.5 points to 1,583.5.
Turnover stood at 352 lots, with open interest at 32,226 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI was 2.0 points higher at 1,598.58 after nine minutes of trading.
