KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, spot month April 2021 and May 2021 dropped seven points each to 1,599.5 and 1,602.0 respectively.
June 2021 inched down 7.5 points to 1,593.0 while September 2021 declined 6.0 points to 1,583.00.
Turnover, however, increased to 6,001 lots from last Friday’s 5,084 lots, while open interest widened to 37,904 contracts from 36,522 contracts previously.
The benchmark FBM KLCI decreased 8.09 points to 1,600.29 from Friday's close of 1,608.38.
