Celebrate Tadau Kaamatan by complying with CMCO - Halimah

PUTRAJAYA, May 29 -- The sacrifice of the people by adhering to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) while celebrating Tadau Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) will assist the country break the COVID-19 chain.

National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique in her Tadau Kaamatan message today said the people could still celebrate via various modern ways of communications despite being unable to meet face-to-face for Tadau Kaamatan in compliance with CMCO.

"Hopefully our sacrifice today would create a safer environment for Malaysians,” she said.

Halimah also called on the people to promote unity by preserving stability, peace and harmony in the country.

"Despite the different environment, I hope the people would find a deeper meaning in diversity and togetherness during the harvest festival this year

“I would like to wish ‘Kotobian Tadau Tagazo Do Kaamatan’ to all Malaysians celebrating the festival,“ she said.
