PTD Alumni launch journal 'Perspectives' to share experiences
KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 -- The Administrative and Diplomatic Officers’ (PTD) Alumni Association has launched a journal titled ‘Perspectives’ in an effort to provide a platform for its members to share experiences and views as well as an inspiration to new PTD officers.
PTD Alumni Association president Tan Sri Sallehuddin Mohamed said the publication was initiated two years ago and it will be an institutional memory and a valuable historical material for future generations.
“With the services provided by the PTD now, I am confident that it will improve in the coming years,” he said in conjunction with the 100th-anniversary celebration of the PTD and the launch of the journal here today.
Among the journal’s contributors were former Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Mohd Sheriff Mohd Kassim and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) pro-chancellor Tun Arshad Ayub.
The journal will be published yearly and it will be bilingual, in Bahasa Melayu and English.
