KELINGTON BAGS RM170 MLN SARAWAK CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Kelington Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd, has bagged a RM170 million construction contract in Kuching, Sarawak from a global micro-electronic semiconductor solutions supplier.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the integrated engineering solutions provider said the contract involves the construction of an integrated chip manufacturing facility in Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone, Kuching.
The work includes architectural and structural works, civil works, mechanical and electrical works, and other process utility work related to the facility.
The contract period is between January 2023 and March 2024 and is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2023 and Dec 31, 2024, the filing said.
