AL RAJHI BANK MALAYSIA LAUNCHES DIGITAL BANK

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia (ARBM) has officially launched Rize, a digital bank that offers banking services and financial products directly to customers via their smartphones, powered by best-in-class technology.

Chief executive officer Arsalaan Ahmed said through Rize, ARBM has achieved its vision to establish a customer-focused digital bank and its aspiration to become the first Islamic innovation bank in Malaysia.

In a statement today, he said that at its core, Rize is a digital bank which seeks to inspire and empower its customers to achieve their hopes and dreams and encourage friends and family to help them realise their goals.

Rize offers customers extensive services such as deposits, personal financing and debit card application, including affordable and customisable Personal Financing-I options.

In terms of security, the digital bank’s security set-up uses the latest cloud-based technology with biometric authentication.

ARBM, a wholly owned subsidiary of the world’s largest Islamic Bank, Al Rajhi Bank Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), was locally incorporated in October 2006.
