ALTUS SEALS FIVE-YEAR DEAL WITH TB SUPPLY BASE TO PROVIDE CARGO CARRYING UNITS
KOTA BHARU, Sept 20 (Bernama) -- Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd has signed an agreement with TB Supply Base Sdn Bhd to supply cargo carrying units (CCUs) for five years in Kelantan.
Managing director Mohammad Taufik Othman said through the agreement, Altus was also appointed as the sole CCU supplier at the Tok Bali Supply Base in Pasir Puteh.
“We are happy with the achievement especially since this Tok Bali branch was just inaugurated this February.
“This symbolises our company’s commitment to customers and their confidence in our service. For now, we are leasing 150 CCUs to HESS and Repsol and meeting ad-hoc requests,” he said in a statement today.
Mohammad Taufik said the agreement will also increase the company’s capacity in supplying CCUs to oil and gas industry players in Tok Bali.
“We are targeting an increase of between 300 and 400 CCUs by the third year and a utilisation of 80 per cent,” he said.
