Organiser Product Malaysia Showcase International Business Society (PROMAS) head of strategic advisory Datuk Naim Mohamad said that the three-day event from Dec 1-3, 2022 will see participation from local and foreign companies.

“There will be about 500 booths with local participants and those from Singapore, China, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Pakistan, Taiwan and other countries.

“This year, we expect more than 3,000 buyers and 20,000 visitors,” he said at a press conference after the soft launch of MIMF 2022 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here today.

“Eighty-five per cent of the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises are in the machinery and equipment industry. In the last 50 years, the industry has grown tremendously due to its competitive business environment and cost advantages, well-developed infrastructure and the availability of technical and management talents,” he said during the launch.

Admission is free but visitors need to register. Children under 12 are prohibited for safety reasons. Opening hours are from 10.30am to 6pm.
