PUTRAJAYA, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- MyHackathon 2022 Programme organised by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd can attract investors’ attention towards local technology startups to help them spread their wings globally, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said.

In a statement issued in conjunction with the MYHackathon 2022 First Cohort winner announcement ceremony today, he said the recognition and awarding of grants to the winners of the programme would be an important start and a platform for the companies involved to prove their capabilities and expertise compared to other developed countries.

MYHackathon 2022 is a continuation of the MYHackathon 2020 event, which is a platform created for technopreneurs, innovators, software engineers and Malaysians to produce brilliant ideas to help the government improve the public service delivery system so that all benefits reach the grassroots.

Themed “Hackathon Nasional Untuk Malaysia Inklusif”, MYHackathon 2022, which started on July 27, received 433 entries from various expertise backgrounds across the country, including in product design, software and artificial intelligence.

Duckarts Studio, which introduced a data collection and resource monitoring application and logistics in the form of logistic interface computive automation supply chain, emerged as the champion in the list of MYHackathon 2022’s five best projects.

The other four projects are the Kapitani app by Kapitani Sdn Bhd, ExoRobo-Badang by The Badangs, Artemis by A2Tech Sdn Bhd and Drone Detection System by FlyBots Technology.
