RHB ISLAMIC BANK BHD and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) have entered into the next phase of their partnership to enhance awareness of marine preservation.

Through a joint three-day summit held recently in Pulau Bidong, Terengganu, the conference addressed the importance of marine protection and preservation through various ocean-themed activities to locate potential underwater sites for upcoming sustainability initiatives.

The marine-themed activities were an integral part of RHB Islamic’s flagship initiative, “Ocean Harmoni”, which encapsulates the principles of value-based intermediation.

RHB Islamic has been actively promoting marine conservation and environmental sustainability by introducing Malaysia’s first eco-friendly recycled plastic debit card with WWF-Malaysia and UMT.
