Nothing introduces Phone (1) to Malaysians

21/07/2022 06:12 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- London-based Nothing has introduced Phone (1) to Malaysians, its first smartphone and a gateway to its future connected and open product ecosystem.

“We designed Phone (1) as a product we would be proud to share with friends and family,” said chief executive officer and co-founder of Nothing, Carl Pei in a statement.

“This simple principle helped us wander off the beaten path, tune into our instincts and create an experience that hopefully marks the start of change in a stagnant industry.”

Featuring the innovative Glyph Interface, a 50 MP dual camera and refined Nothing Operating System (OS), among others, Nothing Phone (1) delivers speed and a smooth experience from RM2,399.

With a 200,000+ pre-order waitlist and bids over US$3,000 for the first 100 serialised units, it is one of the most anticipated tech products in years. (US$1 = RM4.455)

Further extending the experience to tech enthusiasts, Nothing is inviting consumers/fellow Malaysians to its pop-up store held at The Starhill from July 21-25 for pre-orders with ultra fast deliveries scheduled for Aug 1.

The Phone (1) is available in white and black, with two models to choose from: 8GB/256GB priced at RM2,399 and the 12GB/256GB at RM2,699 (available in mid-August onwards).

The Nothing Phone (1) kicks off its national availability on Aug 1 through its flagship e-commerce stores on Lazada and Shopee and electronic retailers such as SenQ, SenHeng, TMT, Direct D and Satu Gadget.
