HONDA MALAYSIA GETS OVER 20,000 BOOKINGS FOR ALL-NEW HR-V
KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 (Bernama) -- Honda Malaysia has received more than 20,000 bookings for the all-new HR-V which comes with exceptional styling, advanced powertrain and innovative features.
The waiting period for the new vehicle is 12 months, depending on the availability of the selected variant.
Managing director and chief executive officer Hironobu Yoshimura said the company is doing its best to deliver the new cars to customers in a timely manner.
“On another note, the extension of sales tax exemption by the government has also boosted Honda's car sales,” he said in a statement in conjunction with the launch of the all new HR-V today.
Honda Malaysia is targeting to sell 1,600 units of the new model per month.
The all-new HR-V continues to raise the bar in the compact sport utility vehicle segment with the introduction of three powertrains for customers to choose from based on their lifestyle and preferences.
The company also announced that the 1.5LHEV RS variant is priced at RM140,800, 1.5T V variant at RM134,800, 1.5T E (RM129,800), and the 1.5L S variant at RM114,800.00 (on-the-road price without insurance).
The new model is available in five colour options -- Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Ruse Black Metallic.
