HEITECH BAGS NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRACT WORTH RM43.80 MLN
KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 (Bernama) -- HeiTech Padu Bhd has received and signed a letter of award for networks infrastructure services for Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd valued at RM43.80 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the five-year contract from July 1, 2022 entailed the the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance of managed wide area networks infrastructure services.
"The contract will not have any effect on HeiTech group’s net asset for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022 (FY2022), but is expected to have positive effects on the company's future earnings and earnings per share,” it said.
Nevertheless, it said the contract will have no material effect on the dividend policy, share capital and substantial shareholdings of the group for FY2022.
“The board of directors is of the opinion that the execution of the contract is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the company,” it added.
