CTIM ANNOUNCES CHOW CHEE YEN AS PRESIDENT, SOH LIAN SENG AS DEPUTY PRESIDENT

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- The Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) has elected Chow Chee Yen as its new president and Soh Lian Seng as deputy president at its 30th annual general meeting.

In a statement, CTIM said Chow succeeded Farah Rosley who has spearheaded the council for three terms.

It said Chow has 30-year experience in the industry and is currently the senior executive director of Grant Thornton Malaysia.

CTIM said he is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (CA), and a graduate of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) Examinations.

Meanwhile, Soh, who has over 25 years of professional experience, is the head of the KPMG Tax Services practice in Malaysia.
