UDA HOLDINGS' MERIAH RAYA CAMPAIGN ENCOURAGES PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

KEPALA BATAS, May 28 (Bernama) -- UDA Holdings Bhd is focused on empowering sustainable lifestyles through efforts to increase property ownership among the community by organising a 'Meriah Raya' property campaign.

UDA chairman Datuk Norliza Abdul Rahim said the campaign, which ran from April 26 to May 31 nationwide, also aimed to promote various property products suitable for all levels including the B40, M40 and T20.

“This initiative is also a platform to introduce the latest UDA products covering residential and commercial units in four regions, namely North (Penang), South (Johor), East (Pahang and Terengganu) and Central (Selangor and Kuala Lumpur).

“This Meriah Raya property campaign is a series of successes in the UDA 50 Golden Offers campaign which was introduced in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of UDA in 2021,” she said at the UDA 2022 Meriah Raya ceremony here today.

Throughout the campaign, UDA offers multiple reward packages such as special rebates and easy ownership.

Among the projects highlighted during the campaign were the Akasia Jubilee Residence, Kampong Bharu Legacy and 38 Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur; Crescent Dew and Wakaf Seetee Aisah 2 in Penang; Pisonia Ville Phase 2 in Johor; Protector Heights Phase 3 in Pahang; as well as Coast Kemaman and Sarai in Terengganu.

She said the Pisonia Ville Phase 2 project would be launched in Johor tomorrow to meet the high demand and success of the first package which was sold out in a relatively short period previously.

Meanwhile, Norliza said UDA Holdings would continue to work with the Penang State Islamic Religious Council (MAINPP) in efforts to develop low-cost and affordable housing on waqf land.

“We have identified a few pieces of waqf land on Penang island such as Jelutong and Sungai Nibong Kecil,” he told reporters after UDA 2022 Meriah Raya celebration.

Following the successful development of Wakaf Seetee Aisah 1 in Bandar Seberang Jaya here in 2012, she said UDA Holdings would now continue with the Wakaf Seetee Aisah 2 project which would see the construction of more than 400 units of low-cost and affordable houses.
