Exabytes to organise 2nd Malaysian SME B2B e-Commerce Exporting Forum

26/05/2022 12:08 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- Exabytes, Southeast Asia's leading business cloud, digital and e-Commerce solutions provider, is continuing its efforts to spur the local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) industry by organising its second MY SME Export Forum on June 1-3, 2022.

It will be conducted virtually for entrepreneurs and potential market entrants who are interested in foreign markets.

Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd founder and chief executive officer, Chan Kee Siak said many exporters are currently facing challenges and constraints in the exporting business, such as the lack of qualified staff to develop, support and maintain the system, lack of appropriate target market contacts and financial assistance, and difficulties with foreign standards and certification.

“We hope that with MY SME Export Forum, more business owners can further understand the exporting ecosystem and enhance their growth in the business-to-business (B2B) exporting business and industry,” he said in a statement today.

Chan said the MY SME Export Forum is crucial for economic recovery in a post-pandemic world.

The forum will focus on growing the Halal markets and making digitalisation the default modus operandi of all Malaysian exporters.

It will also cover the eligibility requirements, procedures, new developments and opportunities in the international market and the Global Halal Market trends, the Malaysian government’s initiatives for this segment, digitalisation of the exporting business, and the overall exporting ecosystem.

The first Malaysian SME B2B E-Commerce Exporting Forum that took place in 2021 saw over 800 virtual attendees logging onto the two-day online event.
