PUNB READY TO HELP ENTREPRENEURS HIT BY SPIKE IN SUPPLIERS’ PRICES
KOTA BHARU, May 23 (Bernama) -- Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd (PUNB) is ready to help entrepreneurs who have been affected by a spike in suppliers’ prices, its chairman, Datuk Ahmad Nazlan Idris said.
He said PUNM would listen to their problems, including in terms of loan repayments.
"We are ready to listen to whatever help they need and we will look into ways to overcome them together. Certainly, our entrepreneurs can get out of the doldrums.
"Despite the difficulties, the entrepreneurs must strive to manage their accounts to convince financiers either from the government and private entities, including PUNB," he told reporters after officiating Timsun Francais Kota Bharu near Chabang Empat Cherang, here today.
Ahmad Nazlan said until March this year, PUNB had approved RM3.53 billion in financing involving 13,063 entrepreneurs from various business sectors and distributed aid to almost 2,000 young entrepreneurs who have just started business.
