UZMA NEXUS BAGS CONTRACT FROM NEXTENAGA WORTH RM101.83 MLN
KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 (Bernama) -- Uzma Bhd's related company Uzma Nexus Sdn Bhd (UNSB) has bagged a contract from Nexuscorpgroup Sdn Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Nextenaga Sdn Bhd worth RM101.83 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Uzma said the contract is for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the development of Nextenaga's Bukit Badong large scale solar photovoltaic plant project at Bestari Jaya, Selangor.
It said UNSB has appointed Suria Infiniti Sdn Bhd (SISB), another Uzma related company, to undertake the works through UNSB’s letter of award dated April 29, 2022.
Uzma said UNSB shall complete and handover the works to Nextenaga by Dec 31, 2022 for the initial operation date and commercial operation date by March 9, 2023.
The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2022 and onwards until the expiry of the contract, it said.
