KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) -- Felcra Bhd has decided to withdraw its collaboration with FGV Holdings Bhd and Qatar-based Baladna Food Industries Co WLL to explore a dairy farm business in Chuping, Perlis.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, FGV said FGV and Baladna Food Industries are continuing with the comprehensive feasibility and technical study of the project.
“The company shall make further announcement as and when there is further material development in relation to the memorandum of collaboration (MoC),” it said.
In August last year, FGV’s subsidiary, FGV Integrated Farming Sdn Bhd (FGVIF), inked an MoC with Felcra and Baladna Food Industries to carry out comprehensive feasibility and technical study on an opportunity to potentially co-invest in an integrated dairy farm business in Chuping.
At close today, FGV shares was flat at RM2.02 with 1.7 million shares transacted.
