DESTINI BHD plans to undertake a proposed diversification of the group's existing principal activities to include renewable energy business and related activities. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Destini said, as at April 21, the group is an integrated engineering solutions provider with diverse interest in the aviation and defence, energy, land systems, and marine industries. 

The group also undertakes the provision of supply, trading and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services specialising in safety and survival related equipment for the aviation and defence, as well as marine industries.

“The group is also engaged in the provision of tubular handling equipment and running services for the oil and gas industry and the supply and MRO of rail vehicles for the land systems industry,” it said, adding it is also involved in the provision of a variety of defence-related equipment including spare parts through contracts with the Malaysian Armed Forces.

JADI IMAGING HOLDINGS BHD's wholly-owned subsidiary, Jadi Life Solutions Sdn Bhd (JLS), today received the conditional approval from the Medical Device Authority (MDA) under the Ministry of Health Malaysia for the distribution of COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test Kits (Saliva) manufactured by Dyna Source Sdn Bhd, namely Biodetect Rapid Sars Cov 2 Antigen Test Kit in Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company opined that the distribution and supply of the COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test Kits (Saliva) is in its best interest after considering its business potential in the prevailing COVID-19 self-test public awareness and support by the Government as an important initiative to combat the spread of COVID-19 infections.

Dyna Source was established by a group of experienced teams in the medical market and industry, dedicating themselves in the belief that transformation is followed with good applications.

Dyna Source is a registered company with MDA and Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) of the Malaysian authority.

DIVFEX BHD announced that its group chief executive officer (GCEO) Kenny Chin Wui Chee has been re-designated and appointed as executive director.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said Chin has ceased to be the GCEO with effect from April 25.

Chin was appointed as GCEO of Divfex Bhd on Aug 10, 2020 and has more than 20 years of working experience across a range of relevant industries to lead the group.

IHH HEALTHCARE BHD announced that the Securities and Exchange Board of India has issued the final order dated April 19 in its regulatory investigations [prior to the acquisition of Fortis Healthcare Ltd (Fortis) by IHH Healthcare], which imposes various directives and penalties effective immediately on all nine noticees to the final order.

The noticees are, namely Fortis, Fortis Hospitals Limited (FHsL), a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of Fortis, and the erstwhile promoter group, which includes RHC Holding Private Lld, Malvinder Mohan Singh, Shivinder Mohan Singh, Malav Holdings Private Ltd, and Shivi Holdings Private Ltd, collectively the Erstwhile Promoter Group Noticees. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, IHH Healthcare said the final order directed Fortis and FHsL, among others, to pursue the measures, which have already been put into motion, to recover the amount of approximately RM225 million along with the interest from the following persons -- each of the Erstwhile Promoter Group Noticees, Best Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Fern Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and Modland Wears Pvt. Ltd.

DYNA-MAC HOLDINGS LTD (Dyna-Mac) through its subsidiary, Dyna-Mac Engineering Services Pte Ltd, has entered into a strategic alliance with Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE), a subsidiary of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd, through a consortium agreement for the purpose of mutual cooperation and joint bidding on targeted international projects.

In a statement today, Dyna-Mac said the synergistic partnership will jointly offer one-stop solutions for module fabrication, vessel conversion and integration work as well as other projects of mutual interest.

Dyna-Mac chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director Lim Ah Cheng said through the agreement, Dyna-Mac will be able to increase its capacity to execute projects beyond its Singapore yards, while MMHE will be able to capitalise on its yard capacity and capability to support and realise a shared vision and addressing market demands. 

MMHE managing director and CEO Pandai Othman said the strategic alliance will allow the powerful combination of MMHE’s capacity and capability and Dyna-Mac's prowess in the market segment to jointly support customers’ demand, thus providing unique integrated solutions from the region.
