OPCOM HOLDINGS BHD's (OHB) wholly owned subsidiary Opcom Cables Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) for the supply of fibre optics cables worth RM26.51 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the contract is for the period from Dec 23, 2021 until Dec 31, 2023.
"The agreement is expected to contribute positively towards OHB Group's earnings and net assets for the period of the agreement," it said.
DRB-HICOM BHD announced that Media City Development Sdn Bhd (MCDSB) and China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (CSSE) have agreed to resolve all disputes including termination of the arbitration proceeding in respect of a contract awarded in 2016.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said both parties have agreed to enter into a settlement agreement.
"The company believes that settlement of the disputes and the termination of the arbitration proceedings by way of execution of the settlement agreement are in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders," it said.
On March 13, 2020, DRB-Hicom said CSCE has filed a statement of claim in the arbitration proceedings on March 9, 2020 for the sum of RM129.7 million in disputes relating to Angkasapuri Media City construction.

FGV HOLDINGS BHD has launched its mobile Kedai FGV pilot project at its plantation in Sampadi, Sarawak for the convenience of its workers.
In a statement, group chief executive officer Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor said all the transactions at the mobile shop are conducted through the FGV e-wallet application in line with its efforts to support the government;s initiative towards cashless transactions.
“Through the use of this e-wallet, plantation workers, especially migrant workers can manage their finances efficiently," he said.
