8 CONLAY BRINGS VIBRANCY TO KUALA LUMPUR

28/10/2021 10:21 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 --  Lifestyle property and design company KSK Land, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KSK Group Bhd, is gearing up for the next level and set to drive sustainable developments as its maiden development 8 Conlay approaches structural completion.

KSK Land said 8 Conlay will bring vibrancy and wellness elements to Kuala Lumpur and its residents.

“In conjunction with World Cities Day (Oct 31), KSK Land celebrated this annual occasion by hosting a fireside conversation on the various aspects that make Kuala Lumpur a great city and a hub in Southeast Asia, many of which have remained unknown to its residents,” the company said in a statement.

A panel of industry leaders who shared their unique experiences in the discussion concluded that Kuala Lumpur is one of the more livable cities in the region with its many charms awaiting discovery.

“Moving forward, it (Kuala Lumpur) has a vibrant future as an art and educational hub, and is also primed for innovative opportunities. Supported by the diversity of its people and its rich history and culture, Kuala Lumpur is set to flourish for many generations to come,” it added.

One of the panelists in the conversation, which  was held on Oct 27, was  the chief executive officer of KSK Group and managing director of KSK Land Joanne Kua, who said  that “at 8 Conlay when someone comes through the door, our (KSK Land’s) job is not just to sell the property but also to sell the city.”

“Whether you buy the property or not, you will walk away with a new impression of what Kuala Lumpur is really about. What gives the city a competitive edge is that unlike several other first-class cities in the world, a high quality of life is available and affordable to its residents,” she added.

Kua also noted that nature is embedded in the heart of the city and is close to any urbanite who seeks escape from the city buzz, a feature of the city that not many people know of.

The other panelists, such as the analytics lead from Think City and co-author of Kuala  Lumpur Creative and Cultural District Strategic Master Plan (KLCCD) Ceelia Leong said a people-centric city is the future while food and beverage entrepreneur Rick Joore said the wonderful thing about Kuala Lumpur is its “city of diversity” tagline.
