SOLARVEST UNIT BAGS RM22.2 MLN ROOFTOP SOLAR CONTRACT IN KEDAH
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 -- Solarvest Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned unit Solarvest Energy Sdn Bhd (SESB) ) has secured a contract from NEFIN Solar Asset 2 Sdn Bhd worth RM22.2 million.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, Solarvest said SESB has been appointed as the sub-contractor for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a rooftop solar photovoltaic energy generating facility for XSD International Paper located at Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah.
The facility, with a capacity of 9,266.4 kWp, will be connected to low voltage interconnection points that meet TNB requirements, it said.
"The project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of Solarvest and its group of companies for the financial year ending March 31, 2022 and onwards until the completion of the project," it added.
