NESTCON BHD’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Nestcon Sustainable Solutions Sdn Bhd, has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Hatten Commercial Management Sdn Bhd to set up a joint venture (JV) to secure, supply, construct, develop and manage solar photovoltaic plants and facilities in Malaysia.

It said the JV would install 6,373 solar panels on the roof of the Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall to generate up to 3.19 megawatt-peak (MWp) of solar-powered energy.

“The agreement shall come into force from the date of agreement and shall remain valid for a period of one year or until the signing of definitive agreement for the plans or termination of the agreement,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.



ECOBUILT HOLDINGS BHD’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Eko Bina Sdn Bhd, has been appointed by Harmoni Bumiria Sdn Bhd as the contractor for the earthworks, temporary internal strutting works, pilling and pilecaps works for the re-development project in Sabah worth RM35.13 million.

“The whole works is expected to be completed within 15 months from the date of commencement, which to be ascertained at a later date or within such extended date as conditions of contract provides,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.




PASUKHAS GROUP BHD’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pasukhas Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM77 million building and external works contract from Famous Ambience Sdn Bhd for the completion of a commercial smart building in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.

It said the construction is scheduled to be completed entirely by November 2022.

“The contract is in line with the company’s expansion of business and strategy to increase the company’s revenue,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.



KEY ALLIANCE GROUP BHD has acquired 55.96 million shares, representing 5.91 per cent of the total issued and paid-up share capital in Macpie Bhd for a total purchase consideration of approximately RM5.34 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Key Alliance said the reopening of the economy would potentially see a flood of events and concerts and the revitalisation of Macpie’s event business.

“Also considering Macpie’s direction to incorporate streaming media services for its events as well as its digital marketing services for small medium enterprises and companies gaining traction, Macpie’s use of cloud services and storage as well as bandwidth enhancement and other complementary,” it added.



HAILY GROUP BHD has received approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for the resumption of its on-site construction activities in Gelang Patah, Johor.

The company said it would resume its on-site construction activities on the abovementioned project site with effect from September 15.

“The remaining four out of 20 on-site construction activities are still suspended. Further developments in relation to the decision from MITI for the remaining projects sites will be announced from time to time,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
