MAYBANK ISLAMIC OFFERS CONVENIENT ONLINE SIGN-UP FOR ZEST-I ACCOUNT

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 -- Maybank Islamic Bhd has introduced a convenient online sign-up to its customers who want to open a new Zest-i investment account through Maybank2U digital platform.

In a statement, Maybank Islamic said the bank remains committed to improve the quality and access of banking services to customers in line with digital developments and to reduce face-to-face interactions across Maybank branch counters to help curb COVID-19.

The process of opening a Zest-i account through Maybank2u is easier, faster and smoother in line with Maybank Group's mission to humanise financial services by making banking facilities accessible to all customers.

It is open to all new and existing Maybank Islamic customers, including Individual Account, Joint Account and In-trust Account holders, as well as foreigners who possess a valid working or student permit, the bank said. 

The Zest-i Account was the first investment account within the Maybank Group that has a special all-year prize draw feature with the objective to provide better benefits and unique value to customers.

The shariah-based investment account is offering customers the opportunity to win attractive prizes with a total value of almost RM2 million this year, for which the customers only need to open a Zest-i investment account online with a minimum of RM50 to participate.

“Subsequent investments will be a minimum of RM200 for their eligibility to win the monthly prizes, RM300 for the quarterly prizes and RM400 for the half-yearly prizes, as well as RM500 for the grand prize draw,” it said.

It added that the contest lucky draw mechanic is based on the number of entries earned under those four categories, hence, the more customers invest, the higher their chances of winning attractive prizes.
