H3C has partnered with Maxmulia Holdings Sdn Bhd to empower enterprises with data protection solutions. 

In a statement today, the digital solutions company said the partnership is aimed to help enterprises with data loss prevention and recovery of crucial files, systems, and databases to ensure smooth business operations at all times.

“Effective data protection solutions are essential for today's enterprises to adapt to big data's evolving demands, which helps make the right business decision.

ZURICH MALAYSIA has introduced a remote signature feature for its life insurance and family takaful plans. 

In a statement today, Zurich said the feature minimises the need for face-to-face meetings by allowing customers to review their applications, upload supporting documents, and authenticate documents with a virtual signature.

"This customer-centric feature is also applicable for the newly launched Zurich Everlasting Cover, a new comprehensive whole life plan providing death and disability protection up to the age of 100," it said.

CIMB BANK BHD and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd (CIMB) have introduced the CIMB EVA chatbot for small and medium enterprise (SME) customers.

In a statement today, CIMB said the EVA chatbot was developed in collaboration with Pand.ai, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI) financial technology company and designed to simplify banking processes for SME customers.

CIMB group commercial banking chief executive officer Victor Lee Meng Teck said the introduction of the EVA chatbot for commercial banking customers comes at an opportune time given the critical need to bank safely during the pandemic.

"We hope this latest innovation will provide convenience to our SME customers as it acts as first-hand support in answering their queries without having to wait to speak to a relationship manager," he said.

TIONG NAM LOGISTICS HOLDINGS BHD has signed a shareholders agreement to invite a new partner to operate its loss-making hospitality subsidiary, Terminal Perintis Sdn Bhd (TPSB). 

In a statement today, Tiong Nam said the agreement entails TPSB issuing 5.2 million new shares, or 51 per cent of its enlarged equity, to Create Fortune Enterprise Sdn Bhd for a purchase consideration of RM36.7 million.

It also said that currently, TPSB owns Fraser Place Puteri Harbour in Johor Bahru, a 25-storey hotel with 297 rooms, and developer of the adjacent residential block comprising 268 units of serviced apartments, worth RM476.7 million in gross development value.

It said the exercise was part of its streamlining to focus on expanding its core integrated logistics and warehousing services business.
