KIM HIN JOO (MALAYSIA) Bhd is planning to seize more opportunities in the market especially after seeing strong growth in its online sales.
Group managing director Pang Fu Wei said amid uncertainties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the commercial clothing retail and wholesale company would be launching a new and improved website by the end of the second quarter before continuing its plans to revamp its back-end information technology infrastructure.
“This puts us on track in our transition from a multi-channel retailer to an omnichannel retailer,” he said in a statement today.

UZMA BHD’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Uzma Engineering Sdn Bhd had on 15 June 2021 via a joint venture with Petra Energy Development Sdn Bhd (PEDSB) received a letter of conditional award offer from Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (Petros).
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Uzma said the conditional award offer was related to exploration, development and production of petroleum in Block SK433, onshore Sarawak.
PEDSB will be the operator under the contract for and on behalf of its joint venture partnership.
